Nu Skin: my product review and how to order

Nu Skin… everyone’s heard of it, some people love it and can’t get enough, others give it a bad review and even call it a ‘cult’ (yep 🙄)… So if you don’t know who to believe and haven’t made your mind up about ordering their products, I completely understand!

Like many of you, I was pretty skeptical when I first heard about cosmetic brands using ‘network marketing‘: a business model where the company sells its products through distributors who are genuine brand ambassadors. This approach benefits the company since it doesn’t need to advertise or operate physical stores.

But after exploring several brands that use this model, I changed my perspective. Of course, there are plenty of scams in this industry… so you can be sure I’m always very cautious when approached about such products!

So, if I’m telling you about Nu Skin today and sharing my opinion, it’s because the brand has successfully passed my credibility/effectiveness test. 😄

Spoiler alert: I fell so much in love with this brand that I actually became a Nu Skin distributor a few years after trying several products (even I didn’t see that coming! 😂). My opinion isn’t from a distributor just looking to make money, but from a longtime customer who became a Nu Skin ambassador and consultant out of love for the products, which I’ve been using daily for many years. ❤️

Who is Nu Skin and is the brand legit?

The first thing that reassured me when I discovered Nu Skin was its founding date: launched in 1984 in the United States, it’s far from being a newcomer.

The second was seeing the brand’s substantial investments in research (with over 75 scientists working for them), dedicated to creating innovative products that meet the highest standards of quality. Without getting too scientific, let’s just say: rest assured, we’re not putting anything from some obscure lab on our skin.

And the third, not least of all: Nu Skin has been ranked the #1 at-home beauty device brand since 2017. 🏆 So, for anyone still wondering if Nu Skin is a scam, the answer is a definitive no.

Testing Nu Skin’s skincare and wellness products

Nu Skin is especially known for its anti-aging technologies and skincare devices like the LumiSpa, Facial Spa, WellSpa iO, and the 180° line. But it also offers skincare for all skin types with the bio-adaptive Nutricentials line, as well as supplements like Beauty Focus Collagen+, plus a range of makeup.

I’ve tested a variety of different products (face and body care, makeup, and inner wellness), and here’s my verdict on several of the best Nu Skin products!

LumiSpa

I can’t go a day without it. 🥰 ❤️

The LumiSpa has completely transformed my skin.

I struggled with acne for years, and after trying countless treatments, plant oils, and essential oils… I finally found what I consider to be the best facial cleansing brush out there.

I saw a difference in just a few days!

My acne diminished until it disappeared, my pores tightened, and my complexion became brighter…

I have so much to say about it that a few paragraphs here won’t be enough to fully express my love for it.

Nu Colour Curling Mascara

Now let’s talk makeup. Curved brushes are becoming a big trend in mascaras, and while it might seem odd at first, you quickly see the benefits. I’ll keep it brief and visual: say goodbye to clumpy lashes!

Your lashes are perfectly separated, given a natural curl, and they don’t clump together. The only thing I wasn’t sure about when first ordering the Nu Skin’s Curl & Lash Mascara was the fact that it doesn’t claim to be waterproof. But I can assure you, as someone who’s easily moved to tears, it passed my tear-test with flying colours! 😂

What sets it apart and makes it my favourite mascara: Its curved and flexible brush is designed for easy and quick application. It leaves your lashes beautifully curled, giving you a striking look.

Pharmanex Tegreen

Pharmanex Tegreen is one of the most googled products from Nu Skin! And it should be! I was so convinced by this product that when I finished my first cleanse, I couldn’t wait to order it again and recommend it to others.

Essentially, this food supplement contains a green tea extract taken from its leaves which boosts our body’s natural defences by protecting our cells and tissues from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

It’s hard to find a product with a greater concentration of antioxidants.

*I should point out that the concentration of caffeine is extremely low, each capsule is 99.5% caffeine-free

What are the main benefits of Tegreen capsules?
